Box Office Winners July 5-7, 2013

Kids ruled the box office once again ‘Despicable Me 2’ came in number 1 for the holiday long weekend with an estimated $82 million. Big-budgeted ‘The Lone Ranger’ was a distant second with $29 million and is considered well below box office estimates and left company execs with sore digits with all the finger-crossing, it didn’t help fellas, the film cost a reported $215 million dollars to make. ‘The Heat’, ‘Monsters University’ & ‘World War Z’ filled out the remaining top 5 spots.
