Box Office Winners August 30-September 1, 2013

For the first time in 3 weeks ‘The Butler’ didn’t do it as ‘One Direction: This is Us’ took the top spot this weekend with $17 Million. ‘The Butler’ came in second followed by ‘We’re the Millers’ with $14.7 and 12.6 Million respectively. ‘Planes’ still seems to have wings with $7.7 Millions while newbie ‘Instructions Not Included’ rounded out the top 5 with $7.5 Million. One of the other newbie films, ‘The Getaway’ did not seem to entice moviegoers and ended in 9th place with an unimpressive $4.5 Million. See the entire top ten for the weekend below.
