Box Office Winners October 18-20 2013

George Clooney and company did it again as ‘Gravity’ easily took the top spot again with $31 Million, it is now one of the top 10 earning films of 2013 (moving ‘The Heat’ to the 11th spot). Tom Hanks’ ‘Captain Phillips’ is still afloat with $17.3 Million while newbie ‘Carrie’ scared up the audiences with $17 Million to come in 3rd. ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2’ is still raking in the profits with an additional $10 Million, meanwhile it looks like audiences were not keen to escape with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger as ‘Escape Plan’ earned a meager $9.8 Million this weekend.
