An old man and his grandson were able to bring George Clooney back to earth as ‘Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa’ captured the number 1 spot with $32 Million at the box office compared to ‘Gravity’ with $20 Million. ‘Captain Phillips’ is still afloat hauling in another $11.8 Million dollars, it seems people were not in the mood for a serious drama starring, well, almost everyone, as newbie ‘The Counselor’ took in only $8 Million dollars this weekend. Rounding out the top 5 was ‘ Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2’ which took in $6.1 Million, pushing its total domestic gross past the $100 Million mark.
