Box Office Winners January 3-5 2014

Frozen

‘Frozen’ has delivered another surprise blow to the box office this weekend, beating out the only newbie ‘Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones’ to win the box office. ‘The Marked Ones’ was expected to win the weekend but came up short with $18 Million compared to ‘Frozen’ with $20.7 Million. The Disney film has racked up a total domestic box office of $297 Million dollars, quite impressive. Meanwhile ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ is hanging on strong with $16.2 Million, enough for 3rd place while ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ & ‘American Hustle’ duke it out for 4th place with $13.4 and $13.2 Million dollars respectively.
