Box Office Winners August 1-3 2014

The guardians ruled supreme as Disney and Marvel took the box office by storm with $94 Million dollar domestic haul for “Guardians of the Galaxy”, easily eclipsing second place “Lucy” who earned $18 Million, while the other newbie “Get On Up” earned a decent $14 Million to come in third. The Rock’s latest film is not fairing any better, it dropped down to fourth place with $10 Million meanwhile “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” is still going strong with another $8 Million dollar haul, upping it’s domestic total to $189.
