Box Office Winners April 18-20 2014

Robert Redford and Chris Evans star as Alexander Pierce and Captain America in Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Three times a charm for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” as it takes command of the weekend Box Office for the 3rd weekend in a row with $26 Million, upping it’s domestic total to $201 Million, coming in second is “Rio 2” with $22 Million. In 3rd place was “Heaven is for Real” with $21.5 Million followed by Johnny Depp’s latest bomb “Transcendence” with a disappointing $11 Million. Box Office Winners April 11-13 2014

Anthony Mackie stars as the Falcon in Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” narrowly defeated a flock of birds this weekend to win the box office for a second time in a row. “Rio 2” took in an estimated $39 Million compared to Cap’s $41.3 Million, earning them 1st and 2nd place respectively. Newbie horror “Oculus” took 3rd place with a surprising $12 Million haul while Kevin Costner’s latest “Draft Day” came in 4th with a disappointing $9.7 Million. Rio 2

The entire cast of the animated smash RIO returns in RIO 2, and they are joined by a new flock of top actors and musical talents. Rich with grandeur, character, color and music, RIO 2 finds Jewel (Anne Hathaway), Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) and their three kids leaving their domesticated life in that magical city for a journey to the Amazon. They encounter a menagerie of characters who are born to be wild, voiced by Oscar nominee Andy Garcia, Oscar/Emmy/Tony-winner Rita Moreno, Grammy winner Bruno Mars, and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth.

Super Bowl Spots for ‘Noah’ & ‘Draft Day’ & ‘A Million Ways…’ Red Band Trailer!

Tons of new goodies hitting the web as we approach Super Bowl weekend, first up is the “Noah” spot you’ll see during the game.

The Biblical Noah suffers visions of an apocalyptic deluge and takes measures to protect his family from the coming flood.

Next up is funnyman Seth Macfarlane’s latest live-action film “A Million Ways to Die in the West”, this one looks good!

But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.

And finally some sports related clips from Kevin Costner’s latest “Draft Day”. On the day of the NFL Draft, general manager Sonny Weaver (Costner) has the opportunity to save football in Cleveland when he trades for the number one pick. He must quickly decide what he’s willing to sacrifice in pursuit of perfection as the lines between his personal and professional life become blurred on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with dreams of playing in the NFL.
