Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” regained the top spot at the box office this weekend, adding another $17.6 Million dollars, the film is already the 3rd biggest domestic moneymaker of 2014, and at $251 Million, it looks likely to pass “The LEGO Movie” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” in at least 2 weeks time. Coming in second this weekend was “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” with $16.8 Million followed by the latest YA movie/book adaptation “If I Stay” with $16.3 Million. In 4th place is the comedy “Let’s Be Cops” with $11 Million while the sports themed newbie “When the Game Stands Tall” came in 5th with $9 Million. “Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” bombed with a $6.4 Million haul, earning only 8th place.
