Marvel Plans Movie Releases Until End of the Decade

Marvel-logo

Marvel has taken the unusual step of planning 6 as-yet unnamed movies well ahead of schedule, in fact, all the way until Summer of 2019. The ones we know are ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ hitting May 1 2015, ‘Ant-Man’ July 17 2015, ‘Captain America 3’ May 6 2016 and ‘Doctor Strange’ July 8, 2016. New dates announced today include May 5, July 27 & Nov. 3 2017, July 6, Nov. 2 2018 and May 3 2019.

Disney/Marvel are expected to announce at least some of the titles pegged for those dates at Comic-Con, for now we can only speculate. We know a third ‘Thor’ film is likely, as well as another ‘Avengers’, should next months ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ prove a hit then expect a sequel from that film…the other three remain a mystery…Black Panther? Black Widow/Hawkeye teamup? It remains to be seen!

2015:
May 1: The Avengers: Age of Ultron
